La Folia Chamber Ensemble is a classical music group. We're also something of an "original" in classical music circles. First off, the trio is made up of flute, violin and guitar---not your standard mix of instruments. By using a guitar instead of a cello, for instance, the sound produced is unique. Our music also goes beyond what you'd normally expect from a classical trio: while we're quite comfortable playing an evening of Baroque masters, we've expanded the concept of "chamber music" to include many genres, such as: songs from famous movie scores, jazz standards, contemporary popular music, and International styles.
